Kuan Kyn went to Penang General Hospital for a check up with doctors today.
Damansara Metro N.C. Lions Club, came all the way from KL to Penang in the morning. They wanted to verify on this matter and know more of the details.
In the end, Damansara Metro N.C. Lions Club headed by Alan Thoo will support this campaign... to help Kuan Kyn... to save a life!

17 August 2011: Damansara Metro NC an KL Mega City Lions Club Presidents Alan Thoo and Margaret Tham, with member Hafizuddin Jamaluddin, visited Beh Kuan Kyn, a bright and young talented King of Scouts from Krian... but unfortunately after his SPM and a bad fever and virl attack, he was diagnosed with Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis..
Malaysian Doctors have confirmed there is no way his neuro system can be restored and have advised the parents that there may not be much hope.
There is a Hospital in China, Beijing Xishan Institute, who has looked into Kuan Kyn's conditions and offered a treatment. Now.. according to Mr & Mrs Beh... there is no guarantees. Local doctors also said NO GUARANTTES... Some even shout out scams?
Both President Alan and Margaret's take on this:
"What if the person lying down on that bed is your very own family member.. son.. husband... or relative? Would that make a difference even if there is only 1% chance of success?"
We are starting a campaign to create awareness... and raise as much funds as possible... to give HOPE to Beh and his family... they need close to RM200 000 to fly him and his dad over for the treatment.
"Where there is HOPE.. there is FUTURE.. We jsut need to BELIEVE in it!!!!!!!"
